Welcome back to Eight Bit Studios

In 2012, my Eight Bit Partners, John Ostler and Steve Polack, agreed to let me co-found Mobile Makers Academy, a coding bootcamp for Mobile developers. It was tremendous fun and I learned so much from it. I learned how to be a better parent, spouse, manager, team player, owner, partner, teacher, and speaker. It changed me for the better in so many immeasurable ways. While it truly was a life changing experience, and I miss my old MM colleagues and co-founder, I am so thrilled to be focusing on just one thing now: Eight Bit Studios.

Being back at Eight Bit full time is a such a joy! I get to walk into the office, every single day. I get to interact with the amazing people we’ve managed to assemble. I get to concentrate all of my energy on making Eight Bit the best it can possibly be and do it, non-stop, with people I appreciate and admire. It’s the best feeling in the world!

We spent the better part of 2016 stabilizing our culture with the growth of our teams and positioning the company for scale. Our people continue to surprise us with their tenacity, spirit, and dedication. As we look to 2017, we are dreaming big dreams. I am really excited to see just what this boat can do.

That’s it, that’s all I wanted to say really. Look out world, we’re running down the diving board at full speed, imaging the perfect cannonball, looking to make a huge splash.
